  1. Hi! I work as an intern on behalf of Anaiah Press Christian Publishing and we are seeking out reviewers for a handful of newly released romances. A Worthy Heart, With my Soul, A promise to Keep, and Wounded Heart. Would you be interested in reading and reviewing any or all of the following in exchange for an ARC in ebook format?

A Worthy Heart by Sara Beth Williams – contemporary christian romance.
Joel Bennett has always known Serena Hayes as his sister’s gregarious best friend. In the three years since Lacey began college, Serena became a regular house guest, but lately, she’s absent more than not. When Joel discovers she’s in an abusive relationship, protectiveness from within roars to life.

With only a part time job to support her and nowhere to go, Serena fears leaving her current relationship would jeopardize her chances of graduating college. After a brutal attack leaves her no choice, she courageously moves out. On her journey toward regaining confidence, self-worth, and independence, Joel falls in beside her, encouraging her. The way he emulates Godly love and compassion draws her close—not just to him, but to the God who can satisfy her longing for love better than any man.

Attraction sizzles between them, but events from their pasts cast shadows of doubt.
When the unthinkable happens, can Serena open her heart to a second chance at love, or is she destined to be alone?

A Promise to Keep – Melanie Teague – Contemporary Christian Romance
Research librarian Savannah Sanderson wants nothing more than to escape into her happily-ever-after novels with their larger-than-life fictional heroes. But a promise to her late husband has her attending her dreaded twenty-year high school reunion, drinking ghastly punch, and taking desperate measures just to keep her vow, even if she has to hide behind the décor to do it.

Once a reckless troublemaker, Michael McCann fled town after graduation. Now a professional technical rescuer, he’s back for the reunion, but on his trip down memory lane, he soon comes face to face with unresolved issues, namely Savannah.

Before the night is over, a pact between these two old friends will lead them on an adventure into uncharted emotional territory where Michael must confront his past regrets and find the courage to reveal the truth. But can Savannah fly from her sheltered nest and risk her heart on a real-life hero?

With my Soul – Laurie Batzel – Contemporary Christian Romance
Betrayed by her husband, Willa Jane Wilson and her daughter are left penniless and alone in post-war Germany. She returns to her hometown in rural North Carolina and prays that a new beginning will soothe the anger still raging inside her heart. But no matter how many miles Willa Jane puts between her and her shame, the peace she seeks is drowned out by ignorance and abandonment.

Her saving grace comes in the form of a new opportunity that she can’t pass up. Tasked with caring for children at a local orphanage, she dedicates herself to transforming the financially-strapped institution into a real home filled with love and faith. But when her fundraising mission lands her in the middle of Raleigh’s glittering social scene, she encounters PJ Townshend, a handsome young lawyer with a dedication to service that matches her own. There’s only one problem: PJ is on track to change the country from its political epicenter—Washington D.C.—and the closer they grow to one another, the farther apart their worlds seem to be taking them.

When a natural disaster of Biblical proportions threatens to part them for good, it also puts the orphanage and everything Willa Jane has worked for in peril. An offer for help arrives from the most unexpected source. Accepting it will require forgiveness of the past…but it might also reunite her with the person her heart desires most.

Wounded Heart – Colleen Hall – historical christian romance
Della Hughes longs for adventure and for freedom from the strictness and austerity of 1870s Boston society. When her uncle and guardian, General Clint Logan, uses his fortune to purchase property in Colorado and set up a horse ranch selling remounts to the western army, Della decides she must accompany him and his family to the West. Along the journey, Della encounters more adventure than she bargained for.

Rustlers, Indians, and rattlesnakes add danger to the trek. A persistent cavalry captain who believes Della would make him the perfect wife and a Cheyenne chieftain’s son who tells her she’s brought sunshine to his heart complicate her life. And the handsome army scout who ramrods their wagon train guards a secret from his past that makes him believe he’s not worthy of loving Della. She must meet the challenges of the West and convince the man of her heart that love is worth risking everything to gain.

Thanks so much for your time and consideration. A Promise to Keep releases in January, but all others are currently released with available ARCs. Feel free to contact me any time with further questions. Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you soon

    1. Hi, Sara Beth,

These sound like interesting stories, but I am only able to read and review hard copies. Should you have those available, I would be happy to consider reviewing these books.

      Thank you.

      Sincerely,

  2. Hello there!

This is Meladia and I am a licensed photographer.

I was baffled, putting it lightly, when I came across my images at your web-site. If you use a copyrighted image without an owner’s license, you must be aware that you could be sued by the owner.

It’s against the law to use stolen images and it’s so low!

Here is this document with the links to my images you used at anestintherocks.com and my earlier publications to obtain the evidence of my copyrights.

If you don’t remove the images mentioned in the file above during the next couple of days, I’ll file a complaint on you to your hosting provider stating that my copyrights have been severely infringed and I am trying to protect my intellectual property.

And if it is not enough, trust me I am going to take it to court! And I won’t give you a prior notice again.

    1. Meladia,

I take my own photos for this blog, and the only graphics I use are ones from services to which I subscribe. I am not clicking on any links, but if you feel that this is in error, please include a description of the photo as well as a link to it on my site. I would never intentionally use a photo without permission, and if I have somehow done this, I will remove it immediately.
