Hidden in the Night is the perfect conclusion to the Missing in Alaska series! I love the way that Goddard changes things up with this book so that instead of just a missing person, it’s a missing treasure that everyone’s really searching for here.
What makes it even better is that’s not simply gold or money, like in most treasure hunts. This time it’s a book manuscript, and both the subject of the manuscript and the document itself lead to even more plot twists and tangles.
Goddard artfully weaves in the difficult landscape and geography of Alaska, along along with a few sci-fi elements, to pull this story together. With exciting characters like Ivy and Nolan, this is a definite keeper.
Though it’s set in wintertime Alaska, the snowy chill will cool you off this summer as you dive into this bookish adventure. Hidden in the Night is one you don’t want to miss.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. All opinions are my own.
