Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I love this holiday. I’m sure I’m not Irish enough anymore for it to really count, but this was my great-grandmother’s birthday – and she made sure I knew that we’re Protestant Irish and should be wearing orange, not green. Every year I wear orange in her memory – and to honor that long-ago ancestor of mine, born in Ireland in 1630, who moved to this continent a mere decade later. How cool is that?
Do you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day?
