It’s quiet here this week.
The kids are away at camp and I’m working hard to plan our next school semester by day and hanging out with my husband by night.
It’s strange how much noise and fun and laughter two short people add to a household.
They add laundry and dirt and chaos, too, and because of that I’m thankful for this week’s chance to rest and enjoy the quiet.
I’ll be super happy to pick them up on Friday and embrace the noise, though, too.
