I was surprised with the inclusion of a side character who played such a large role in the story and led a very secular life, but this allowed the author to put a main character in direct conflict with his faith, and I enjoyed the way that this thread played out. The story was very tight, as even seemingly minor details played important roles, and this resolution was well done.
Though the stakes were high, the story wasn’t the least bit scary to read – for me. If you don’t like reading about people in danger, then it may be a heart-pounding read for you, but if you like the tension high both in terms of romance and danger, then Unseen Danger is the book for you.
