No Unturned Stone - Book 2 Featuring Rembrandt Stone - Review - A Nest in the Rocks

No Unturned Stone – Book 2 Featuring Rembrandt Stone – Review

The time is right to jump into ‘The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone’ series as Book Two releases TODAY! Here’s what it’s all about:

“The One Rule Is, Don’t Mess With The Past”

But he did, and now ex-detective Rembrandt Stone is reaping the devastation of ignoring those words when he traveled back in time to solve the one case that had haunted his dreams.

Yes, he solved the crime. Yes, he saved lives. But Rembrandt returns to find the unthinkable has happened and his life has shattered.

There’s only one answer: break the rule again. Go back in time once more, fix what went wrong, save what went right, and yeah, in his spare time solve another brutal crime.

But it’s not so easy to change time, especially when time turns you into a target. And of course there’s the strong possibility if he goes again, he’ll never get back.

No Unturned Stone, Book 2 in The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone series.

No Stone Unturned is a page-turner that you won’t be able to put down! I love the way that the authors spiral you ever deeper into the story of Rem, sharing more about his backstory, and planting seeds of possibility for both his past and future with Eve. This book is truly a time-travel thriller at its best – and they’re only on Book 2! I can’t wait to see where they take this series.

So much happens in this book that you’ll be on the edge of your seat during your whole read – which will be quick, because you won’t be able to put it down! I started the book worried about Rem because of where he was left at the cliffhanging end of the last book – in true Susan May Warren style – and the beginning didn’t do much to alleviate those worries, I must admit. I didn’t want this to be one of those books where you feel so sorry for the main character that you have to grit your teeth to read it – but no fear! The hope promised by the authors creeps into this plotline, and even though the story is full of twists and turns, keeping both Rem and the reader on their toes, Rem zooms off into unforeseen territory that promises better days ahead. Some questions from the last book are answered and others are raised as you learn more about the characters and their stories, but I love the way that the authors hook you and keep you wanting more. In fact, I think this is going to be the perfect series to binge read all the way through – though it will never be possible for me to wait that long to read the next installment!

So if you love fast-paced books full of action and drama, you’ll love No Unturned Stone. Grab your copy today!
