The Butterfly Box - Review & Giveaway - A Nest in the Rocks

The Butterfly Box – Review & Giveaway

When I was in college, on the days that we received mail, we’d always say that “somebody loved us.” A great package really does that, right? It makes you feel special and loved – and that’s just part of what’s so great about the Butterfly Box subscription service.

The Butterfly Box is a subscription service curated specifically for Christian women. Each box comes with 5-6 carefully chosen items that either are Christian or are from small Christian shops. The items may be jewelry, books, journals, decor, or self-care items like candles or lotion. The items in each box relate to a central theme and are designed to encourage your faith.

These are the items that came in my Butterfly Box!

In essence, it’s a box of gifts designed to remind you that God loves you! It’s happy mail! It really is, too. Check out what was in the box that I received this month:

Tea Drops from my Butterfly Box

Aren’t these tea drops awesome? Instead of tea in a bag, it’s pressed together, and you drop it into your mug of hot water. Such fun flavors, too!

My Prayer Bracelet from my Butterfly Box

I put this bracelet on right away! I’m short with small wrists, and many bracelets are much too big. The pretty danglies on the ends of this one makes it easy to adjust, though, and the daintiness of the cord and butterfly bead are perfect for wearing every day.

Weekly Prayer Guide from my Butterfly Box

I’ve heard people talk about different ways of structuring their prayer life. Most of them seem to involve acronyms to help them remember an order in which to pray. This one is a bit different, though. It breaks up the things you probably pray about into big chunks and then offers suggestions for ways to pray through each one. Each chunk is then assigned to a day of the week so that you can pray through all seven each week.

The Power of a Praying Woman by Stormie OMartian is a super popular prayer book for Christian women. This version is especially nice with a pretty aqua leather-like, embossed cover.

Spiral-bound Journal
Spiral-bound Journal

I realize this might seem a bit odd, but this journal is probably my favorite item from my Butterfly Box. I’ve always had a thing for journals, and this one is beautiful. I love the shading and fun lettering and even the sparkly bits of gold on the cover. Better yet, because it’s spiral bound, it lays flat when open, making it very easy to write in. I go through journals very fast, and this is both useful and pretty.

I’ve really enjoyed the items in my Butterfly Box. They’re calming, pretty, and a great reminder to be still and spend some time with God – because He loves you!

You can go here to purchase your own Butterfly Box subscription, and you can even save 10% with code WELCOME10.
