June has arrived, and while the calendar says summer hasn’t arrived yet, it sure feels like summer! We’re taki-grng a much-needed break from school this week, as well as finishing up the baseball season and working in our garden. It’s great to be outside!
Simple, healthy meals are still the main plan. Baseball will crunch dinner time several nights and the heat has arrived, but it will be nice to be less rushed during the preparation.
Breakfast:
– fresh fruit and Cinnamon Almond Granola
– Scrambled eggs, fruit
– Waffles, fruit
– Pink Lemonade (Baked) Doughnuts
Dinner:
– Whole-wheat waffles with strawberries and whipped cream
– Southwestern quesadillas, salad, fruit
– Fettuccine Alfredo, grilled chicken, steamed broccoli
– Dinner out with friends
– Grilled sausages, Best Ever Cheesy Grilled Potatoes, salad
– Leftovers
We’re going to try to make this Springtime Strawberry Pie this week, too. Yum.
